Chef
Éric Gonzalez offers unique culinary experiences based on high skills and economic understanding of the art of owning a fine cuisine restaurant. Éric has all the qualities to honor the reputation of StoneHaven Le Manoir | Relais & Châteaux as a luxury hotel. At the age of 27, Éric Gonzalez received his first Michelin star. He is now a member of the prestigious french association called Maîtres Cuisiniers de France. He is a leader in the gastronomy field and a famous chef in France and Quebec. Éric has lived in Montreal for 22 years and worked in many important institutions. He is the author of the cooking book Audaces: façon Éric Gonzalez, published at Éditions de l’Homme.
As a famous Chef, Éric is undeniably at the top of his art. His meals are made with contrasts. He gets his inspiration from past traditions and present actions. Just like an artist, Éric Gonzalez is sensible and uses this quality to share his passion for beautiful and tasteful cuisine. He likes to remind us that cooking is a shared pleasure, that each meal has its own story and that it is the product that must be in the spotlight, not the Chef.
